O Method (Orgasm Manifestation)
Also known as Orgasm method, Orgasm manifestation
You masturbate or have sex while holding a specific goal vividly in mind, then release the thought outward at the exact moment of orgasm and let go of it completely afterward.
Widespread Sara Perl (@hothighpriestess), the creator who brought it to mainstream TikTok in September 2022, has 2.8 million TikTok followers and 192.7 million total likes; her original O Method video is reported to have 13 million views. The #OMethod and related hashtags have accumulated nearly 10 million tagged views. The method has been covered by Bustle, Elite Daily, Dazed, Grazia, Parade, and The Everygirl, and was the subject of a Fortune profile on Perl's nearly $1 million coaching business built from the viral moment.
What it is
The O Method is a sex-magic-adjacent manifestation practice in which you use the peak arousal state of orgasm as the moment to send a clearly visualized intention outward. The core idea is that orgasm produces an unusually focused, emotionally charged mental state, making it easier to imprint a desire without the analytical mind getting in the way. Popularized on TikTok from 2021-2022, it draws on older tantric and Western occult "sex magick" traditions while packaging them in the language of Law of Attraction. After the moment of release, practitioners deliberately detach from the outcome and resume normal life, following the standard manifestation instruction to avoid obsessing.
How to do it
- Decide precisely what you want to manifest — be specific enough to picture it in concrete sensory detail (a person, a place, an amount, a scene).
- Create a comfortable, private space free from distractions. Some practitioners light candles, play music, or journal beforehand to deepen focus.
- Begin self-pleasure or partnered sex in whatever way is natural for you. For the first part of the session, simply relax and build arousal without forcing anything.
- As you approach climax, shift your full attention to the desired outcome. Visualize it as already real — see the scene, feel the emotion of having it. Some practitioners edge (pause at the brink) to hold the vision longer.
- At the exact moment of orgasm, hold the image firmly and mentally release it outward, as if sending it into the world.
- Afterward, let go completely. Do not replay or obsess over the desire. Return to daily life as though the outcome is already handled.
What people use it for
- romantic relationship / specific person (SP)
- financial abundance / money
- career advancement
- housing / dream apartment
- general desire fulfillment
Where it comes from
Roots in tantric traditions (first millennium CE) and Western occult sex magick (19th–20th century, figures such as Paschal Beverly Randolph and later Aleister Crowley). The modern TikTok iteration was seeded in 2021 by early creators and then popularized at scale in September 2022 by Sara Perl (@hothighpriestess), a Gen Z manifestation coach who built a multimillion-follower presence and a coaching business from the viral moment. Venus O'Hara (140k YouTube subscribers) also documented a personal practice independently around the same period.
