Healing Ourselves and Our World
A Full Moon Meditation Gathering
We look at the current astrological and seasonal energies to inform us how we can better align ourselves with their natural rhythms.
We will explore our intuition and creativity for visual clues to bring us into harmony and balance.
The ancient technologies of Kundalini Yoga, which we will practice, will guide us inward where we will connect and activate our innate truth and healing capacities.
We will practice some breathing and movement techniques.
You will create a healing mandala collage to take home.
According to Astrology, March’s Full Moon is ruled by Virgo.
Virgo’s element is the earth and is the sign of service, simplicity and practicality. Virgos are associated with purity and health.
Traditional Chinese Medicine tells us that March rules the small intestine meridian.
This meridian is about separating the pure from the impure on the physical, mental and emotional level.
The small intestines are about the fire of transformation. The digestive fire changes food into blood.
Key is to simplify. Keep life, and especially diet simple and pure.
There are 12 astrological signs, and the Moon spends roughly 2 1/2 days in each sign and takes 28 days to circumnavigate the zodiac.
Each astrological sign has a different personality and energy, and together, they influence our daily thoughts, moods and activities.
